The Veterinary Option

When I was a child I liked cars and my dream was to be a taxi driver at age 10 approximately. The Veterinary Medicine option appeared in the school, I saw the TV show "The law of the jungle" and thought as I could do the same. In the secondary school, look others options of universitary profession and thought in Human Medicine, Journalism and Kinesiology. This last option, together with Veterinary Medicine, was the most important in my last year in the school.

In secondary school I practiced athletics in National stadium and, for this, I liked the kinesiology as option of job in the future. But Veterinary Medicine was always present in my plans. In my fourth year of school I had these two options of universitary carreer and after the PSU I applied to these options in the University of Chile. The two options were the same for me, so I waited and was selected in veterinary medicine.

In these four years I have had great experiences, I met good friends, learned a lot about politics and life, here I am being formed as a critical person. Because of that, I would like to work in clinic with residents as the "CESAVE El Roble" or field with small farmers.

Technology in my life...

In the last years of my life, mainly in the university, the computer has become in my best friend, my favorite piece of technology. I use this machine for work, study, entertainment and distract.

I have one computer in my house, we bought eight years ago, and one notebook for my brother and me that we bought during 2012. My brother use the notebook for playing all day, my mom watch over us for play a little less and study more. I use the computer and notebook for check my mail, facebook notifications, events of week, write informs and homework of university, listen to music and watch movies... I use it every day.

I like this object of technology because this work concentrates almost all I have to do in a normal day.

If I didn't have a computer or notebook my life would be totally different, would be very slow, disordered, one great chaos. I hope that doesn’t happen.

What is your opinion....

about the Chilean politicians?

Today the Chilean politicians are liars, they  look up the vote of people with promises of better life, organization, employment and other beautiful phrases. The people vote and after forget, people are naive and not claim what they deserve.

about the Chilean tradition "mechoneo"?

In my opinion the "mechoneo" is humiliating tradition that abuse our fellows, with many fights and nasty things. All this to demostrated that old fellows were superior than news. The welcome should be companion and to forming friendships and works. 

about killing stray dogs?

The solution of stray dogs is mass sterilization and education for the owners to be responsible with their animals. Today Chile doesn't have good policies of responsability with animals and penalties when take place an animal abuse. killing stray dogs  isn’t a solution, education it is.

about recycling?

Is one of the forms to stop with the climate change and help to lower the volume of trash in the differents parts of the world. Also, this lower the rats and infections in this places too.

about “barrasbravas”?

The "barrasbravas" is bad, but "inchas" is other type of people. I like "inchas", group of people that make a carnival in the stadium, I am one, because that the best team support. I think that the delincuence is "out", the carnival is "In".

Music?

I listen to music all day, in the bus or metro whit my earphone, when I’m studing, when I’m reading, etc...

I listen to so many styles of music,  I listen to rap, rock, latinamerican music, etc. But if there some music that  I dont like is metal music, or heavy music.

“To me” is very difficult select one favorite band, but in this post I will choose "Calle 13". This band is integrated by  René Perez nicknamed "Resident" and his brother Eduardo Cabra nicknamed "Visitant". Calle 13 is a band of Puerto Rico and was founded in 2005. The thematic of their songs are the culture and the fight of the Latin american people's. That’s why  that I liked this duo.

My favorite song of this band is "Latinoamerica" of the album "Entren los quequieran" publicated in 2010, because mentioned a social fight and the equality of all people in Latin american.

My autobiography

I was born in Santiago, Chile; in Sotero del Rio Hospital, in September 15, 1992. I'm studied all primary and secondary school in "Colegio El Sembrador", located in Puente Alto.

Today I’m study fourth year of Vetererinary Medicine in University of Chile. During school years and first grade of university I'm practice athletics in National stadium. Then, in 2011 I was incorporate in Aukamapu’s collective, a students organization of Campus Sur. There we fight for social and students demands. Now, this year, I'm "Concejero" of Students Federation of the University of Chile (FECh) and I’m working at the parasites laboratory with other career partners.

Today I live with Elizabeth (Mother), Carlos (Father) and Matías (Brother) in Puente Alto, in a great and happy house.
